Time to leave the city of Riga and ride to the beach town of Jurmala
Jurmala is reached comfortbaly by bike on the 20 km bike path from Riga to the beach town. After passing thriuygh rthe suburbs of Riga we will roll through a wooded and scenic area all the way on the designated bike lanes to the beach. This is a half to full day tour and we will have plenty of time to enjoy the beach, relax, explore and return to the city. You may choose to cycle back with your guide or we can use a train.

Historically the most popular touristic destination outside of Riga, Jurmala has plenty to offer, from its natural beaches and woodlands to its culture and dining.

We have been leafing people by bike to Jurmala for years and this is a great way to see more of Riga, a bit of nature, grab fresh air and discover the beauty of Jurmala and its endless beaches on a day trip to remember.

This is around 20 km one way to the beach, plus cycling within the beach town area. Having said this, it is easy going and relaxed for most levels of cycling.
