Riga’s top Indian restaurant

Located just off St. Peter’s Church in the Old Town, Indian Raja is the only true Indian restaurant in Latvia’s capital. It might be that locals haven’t developed a taste for Indian food and that Caucasian cuisine historically has been the most popular foreign food in Latvia in last 40 years or so, but the food cooked at Raja might be the thing to change that.

Recipes here offer the best of Indian cuisine in a great variety(keep in mind they have to make up for the absence of other restaurants), there’s curries for carnivores and veggies as well, freshly baked naans and papadums, and more, so it’s guaranteed everyone will find something for themselves. Quality and authenticity has a price, so be ready to fork out a bit more, but it’s definitely worth it.
