Our experienced photographic guide will provide you with a camera, film and development of your pictures. You do not need any previous experience using a 35mm film SLR camera to join us on this tour.

What is included in the tour?

• Pick up from your accommodation (within Riga old town and the central district)

Visit unexplored soviet areas, markets and the old workers’ district. Our photographic group leader will be showing you many of the unseen areas of the city. The tour is as much about history and culture as it is about taking great pictures.

You will be given a briefing on how to use the camera, some basics on photography and composition as well as encouragement and support throughout the tour of Riga to create some memorable images.

This is great for art students, school groups or private groups alike. It really does not matter what your background is! If you like the idea of taking pictures in a traditional way, using retro Soviet cameras and of having negatives and a CD of your pictures at the end of the tour, then this is a really great way for you to do so.
