Before the building on Barona street was built, there were other houses built by Germans and Russians, but not by Latvians on that part of Riga. When the Latvian built his house, others started to complain - his house is not on the right place, it is covering daylight for other houses etc, so the owner put there dragons as a decoration of his house.
