This is great way to explore the greener parts of Riga on one of those days that bikes are made for. We will take you up to a huge forested area next to a beautiful lake where there are some fantastic bike paths for us to cruise along.
On the way we’ll pass by old cemeteries, the brother’s graveyard, a sculpture yard and plenty more. Once there, we’ll visit some beautiful early 20th century architecture, including many wooden and Art Deco styled buildings, riding through a district famed for its rich residents, some of whom made their money in questionable ways.

Our Beautiful Riga Tour is designed to show just how gorgeous and green this city is. Passing through the central district, you’ll see some fine examples of Art Nouveau architecture. Then, following the bike path we’ll pass by both the Great cemetery and the forest cemetery, before making a stop at the Brother’s Graveyard Memorial Ensemble, where the soldiers that died in the First World War and the Latvian War of Independence are buried.
Upon reaching the forest suburb, Mežaparks, we’ll meander along the quiet streets, taking in the fantastic wooden mansions before entering the forest park itself for a cruise down to the lake edge. Then it’s an easy cruise back to the centre.
