Latvian applied folk-art fair at The Ethnographic Open-Air Museum of Latvia is a celebration and exhibition for artists and craftsman who participate. Artists and craftsman are waiting for this event all year long is said on events page. It is Held on June 4 and 5 from 9:00 to 17:00.

This fair started in 1971. and it is already 46th time. There will be blacksmiths and basket-makers, weavers and potters, tailors, leather craftsmen, wood carvers, jewelry designers as well as knitters from all over Latvia. There will be traditional music, dances and also beautiful folk costumes. Everyone are welcome to participate in dances and games.
The Ethnographic Open-Air Museum of Latvia is in the forest by Jugla lake at outskirts of Riga. There are collection of preserved folk wooden buildings, exhibits of traditional way of life and cultural heritage.
