Many activities will be on offer, including Albert streets 100 year ago street festival, where you can step back in time to the Art Nouveau period.  There will be sports events, musical performances and so much more.

A full list of what is going to happen over the next days can be found here – http://www.rigassvetki.lv/2014/

As big fans of Riga and also of our public transport system we are also happy to announce that Riga will provide free transport throughout the network during the 16th and 17th of August. This gives you as visitors a double bonus! Great events and activities alongside the chance to explore the city.

Our favourite method of public transportation is our Tram system, so hop on Nr. 11 and head up to Meža Parks, visit the zoo and forest park / lake. Why not try Nr. 7 and explore the Moscow District (Latgales priekšpilsēta). Alternatively, cross the river using Nr. 2 and visit Āgenskalns.

Enjoy!
