Tallinn’s huge Christmas tree in the town square has blown over! Strong winds blowing at 100kph brought the immense 24 Meter tree down.

Riga and Tallinn both suggest that they are home to the Christmas tree and that the use of tree originates from their cities. In honour of this, Tallinn city erected a huge tree which has had a few problems.

The proposal is to reduce the height of the tree so that the winds will not get the better of it. Lets hope the best for our friends in the north and their Christmas tree.
